Itinerary: Chianti, Mugello and the 1000 Miglia
Following the itinerary suggested by our road book you will drive through the Chianti and Mugello area. You will discover the enchanting villages of Greve, Panzano, and drive on the same roads where the “1000 Miglia” and the “Mugello Historic Circuit” took place.
The itinerary includes indications about restaurants serving genuine local food and wine tastings.
Day 1: From Florence to Greve in Chianti, Panzano and back to Florence.
Day 2: Discover the Mugello region and drive the roads where the historic circuit took place.
Day 3: Mille Miglia to Siena and back.
The Accommodation
Villa Le Piazzole, a historical villa of the seventeenth century, has now been restored and transformed into a Residence and Bed & breakfast with large apartments offering the best services and comfort.
The narrow hilly roads separating Villa Le Piazzole from the city center offer a cozy shelter from the noisy traffic, evidently benefiting the quality of the air and the quietness of the area.
Villa Le Piazzole features a heated swimming pool from April to October, surrounded by a large garden with an ancient canopy. Our customers can use the self service laundry, and have breakfast upon request.
